METHOD 1: Lock the video or photo file on the APP

1. Go to Media – DVR, find the videos or photos you like.

2. Choose the video or photo, you’ll find one lock icon on the top right. You can click it to lock the file to avoid being overwritten.

METHOD 2: Lock the video or photo file directly on the DVR

1. Press the Menu button to switch to the folder icon at the left bottom, then press OK button to select.

2. Now, you enter the video folder in the camera, you can find the one you like, and long press the Menu button, then the video file is locked, it will not be overwritten. You can also see that there will be a lock icon on the top left of this video. If you want to unlock the video, just long press the Menu button again.

NOTE:

When you format the card or move the video to your computer from the SD card, the video you lock will disappear from the SD card, too.

Lock file only prevent the file being overwritten.
